CleanTechies is offering Editorial/Online Media Internship positions. This is a great opportunity if you want to gain invaluable hands-on-experience to start your career as an editor or reporter, or if you want to work in online marketing or communications/public relations.

During the internship, you will:
- Read, research, edit and write for us (actually see your work online!)
- Write blog entries on the CleanTechies Blog
- Conceptualize and develop new content for the CleanTechies website

Depending on your interests and qualifications, you might also perform other marketing tasks, including:
- Develop the CleanTechies profile on social networking sites, including LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook, Twitter
- Promote the CleanTechies website on social bookmarking sites, including Digg, Stumble Upon
- Develop membership communications, including administration of contact databases
- Organize events, including research location, organize catering, invite participants, channel logistics

You will have the opportunity to build your portfolio of published work and learn the fundamentals of blogging, online marketing, and social media optimization.

What we are looking for in our Interns:
- Smart, creative college student or recent graduate
- Excellent writing and communications skills, tireless work ethic
- Previous experience writing editorial/marketing content
- Preferably, experience with blogs and online media
- Interested in green/sustainable, CleanTech, and career topics
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Outgoing personality, motivated and fun to hang out with

About the Internship:
- 1 to 6 months in duration
- 20-40 hours per week
- Flexible hours and the ability to schedule around another job or classes
- Responsibility upon experience
- Work with us in San Francisco and remotely
- Provide your own laptop
- This position is unpaid
