5. What consulting contracts are offered?

Occasionally, organizations need to augment their team for a particular project. CleanTechies counts on a network of independent consultants around the world with a broad range of experiences and expertise across the spectrum of clean technologies, energy policy, environmental law and general strategy experts.

CleanTechies can satisfy short-term and medium-term consulting needs by providing teams made up of industry experts or allow organizations the opportunity to engage a potential full-time candidate for an interim consulting contract. CleanTechies can provide services in the following fields:

6. What’s the basis for conducting a search?

CleanTechies typically operates its searches on an exclusive basis requiring a retainer for services to demonstrate the employer’s commitment. In exchange, CleanTechies will work with the hiring manager to identify the role’s required attributes, specifically regarding education, experience and personality. CleanTechies will then focus its energies and conduct an exhaustive search and selection process and present appropriately trained candidates that demonstrate passion for the job offering and the industry.

7. What’s the fee?

CleanTechies’ fee is highly competitive. Start-ups are unique in that they are often operating in a cash constrained environment. CleanTechies recognizes and appreciates this and is prepared to work with exceptional clients to develop a fee structure that is suitable for both sides.

8. What’s the payment schedule?

For contract searches, an appropriate sum is due at inception of the search; this deposit provides for the initial expenses that will be incurred while searching for candidates – no additional expenses incurred will be billed through to the client. Balance due at completion of each search, and payable at the start date of each candidate selected.

For consulting contracts, an appropriate payment structure will be mutually agreed upon with the company based on the contract’s requirements.

9. What guarantee do you offer?

CleanTechies guarantees any candidate appointed for three (3) months from date of employment.  If a candidate is  terminated for cause or resigns during our guarantee period, CleanTechies will replace the candidate at no additional cost other than additional actual expenses.

10. What kind of people do you place?

CleanTechies places a high value on the soft skills and fit of the people that it places. CleanTechies recognizes the importance of group dynamics and will spend time with clients to identify the company’s ethos and will look beyond training and experience to ensure that the candidates selected for interview are suitably matched to the company.
