Many people like to sit alfresco and enjoy the sun in restaurants with garden areas. Now it is possible to enjoy the sun as well as have your food cooked with solar cookers.
That’s the concept behind pop-up restaurant Kulta Solar Kitchen Restaurant, a collaboration between Lapin Kulta Solar Kitchen and Finnish beer brand Lapin Kulta.
It was first launched during the Milan Design Week back in April. After Milan it went to Helsinki for 10 days in August.
The menu varied according to the amount of sunshine available. Apparently the food cooked with solar power tastes better and can be very diverse as well.
The video below demonstrates the restaurant in action at its Helsinki location.

What a novel idea! I wish I could visit over there to see that restaurant.
