Those of us waiting for a more guilt-free computing experience will not have to wait for it much longer.
Samsung unveiled at the Africa Regional Forum in Nairobi, Kenya the NC215S, a netbook equipped with solar cells on its cover whose battery life could last as long as 14 hours, the company says. But they will not be for the graphics-intensive computer-user, Get Solar wrote.
Since many of us use netbooks mostly for word processing and living our online lives, the solar-powered NC215S should do just fine. It is expected to be released in the U.S. on July 3rd at a retail price of $399.
