Mexico is set to have more small wind generation thanks to the arrival of Sauer Energy’s WindCharger vertical-axis wind turbine. The company yesterday announced it has teamed up with ENRCOM, a specialist in telecom networks and rural power plants, to instal its wind power system on an ENRCOM test site in Mexico.
Besides the turbine, Sauer Energy will provide its customized mounting system to be attached to the communication towers. ENRCOM is in the process of creating its own training program in preparation to the deployment of the many WindCharge systems required to maintain uninterrupted communications.
“ENRCOM has moved into field deployment. Following the expected successful results of the testing, the large scale utilization of the WindCharger will begin as they are used to generate and maintain power for communication towers throughout Mexico. It is our expectation that thousands of WindCharger turbines will become a familiar site atop towers across the country, keeping everyone connected,” said Sauer Energy CEO and president Dieter Sauer.
Working closely with ENRCOM, Sauer Energy’s s design and engineering team developed and built a custom mounting system to specifically fit both the mono pole and the three-legged communication towers. They can be used by most communication towers universally. The WindCharger system was designed for maximum efficiency wind capture. When installed at a height exceeding 100 feet, it can reach peak performance and withstand gusts up to 100 miles per hour.
Sauer Energy said that wind power is the ideal solution to supply ENRCOM’s demand for low cost alternative energy for off-grid locations in rural and metropolitan areas.

send me this wind energy’s catalouge and full details of power and waltage
Good, now that the BP oil slop has polluted the fishing/marine life in the entire area throughout the gulf, another form of “free energy” becomes available. Hope the stinking rich energy moguls are sucking down huge amounts of the seafood that has now become soaked with the toxins. Make sure their children’s plates are loaded too. What comes around, goes around.
